BELFAST CSD seeks applicants for a Primary Special Education Teacher,

Develop an effective instructional program to accommodate individual needs and varying disabilities using a continuum of service delivery models.
- Facilitate the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and reflective development of children at Belfast central School.
- Serve as special education case manager for students as assigned.
- Plan and implement, in collaboration with the Special Education Director, other special educators, lead teachers, and parents/ guardians, individual education plans (IEPs) for children with varying disabilities that are consistent with developmentally appropriate educational practices, local procedural guidance, State and - Federal IDEA regulations, and the Belfast Central School mission and philosophy and the New York State Department of Education Learning Standards.
