Warehouse Associate in Buffalo, New York

Salary Range: $16-$19 based on experience

LS and S LLC is a national catalog company selling products for the visually impaired and hard of hearing. The company sells to state agencies, the federal government, not-for-profits, schools, and directly to individuals, most of whom are seniors.
We are a smaller sized company with a supportive working environment and a strong emphasis on customer service.

Overview:
The Warehouse associate is responsible for continuing the Company’s excellent customer service reputation through the timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders.
The warehouse associate is responsible for picking, and shipping all orders.
Warehouse associates are expected to gain familiarity with products over time in order to aid in accurate order processing and customer service support.
Forklift certification is required.

Major Responsibilities:
Order Picking: Accurately pick all orders and double check line item descriptions for item accuracy.
Build product familiarity to help insure accurate picking. Restock shelves as necessary from overstock locations.
Order Packing/Shipping: Ship all goods according to customer specifications.
Fill out customs forms or bills of lading when necessary.
The Company strives to ship all orders that are entered by 3 PM each day.
General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and picked up at all times.
Keep shelves neat, organized, and well stocked.
Help with general facilities maintenance as needed.

Hours: 8:30 – 5:00, Monday – Friday, with some overtime requirements.
Location: City of Buffalo.
