Staff Development Coordinator in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $65,000

Staff Development Coordinator Wanted for the Central Library
$65,000 annual salary, paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan offered

• Develop needs assessments and training curriculum;
• Deliver effective trainings utilizing proven adult learning techniques and service area experts;
• Build positive relationships across library system and become the key point of contact for performance management and staff development;
• Create new trainings or in-services as needed when gaps in skills/competencies are identified;
• Prepare and conduct in-service training programs for all staff, including a formal orientation for new hires, managers, directors, and trustees;
• Facilitate and oversee contracted training;
• Work with supervisors for employee performance management, evaluations and probation periods, talent development, career path planning and succession planning.
