Staff Accountant in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $47,000 - $52,000

Staff Accountant will handle the company’s accounting procedures and maintains a healthy financial profile ensuring compliance with federal, state and local principles. Responsible for all daily accounting task including accounts payable, payroll, benefits management, reporting. Performs financial transactions and post to general ledger with strong attention to detail, account reconciliations; handles monthly, quarterly and annual closings and reporting, and conducts data backups when required. Performs relevant administrative and accounting duties as required and assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

BS in Accounting with 2 yrs. of practical accounting experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, strong spreadsheet skills, knowledge of Sage Intacct, Quick Books, excellent math skills, strong attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, Confidentiality and integrity a must.

$47,000 - $52,000 - 12-month position plus benefits
