Special Education Teacher - New Higher Salary - $53k!
Location: Amherst, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM (Thursdays until 4:00 PM)
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Special Education Teacher
The Teacher is committed to educating each student according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and develops creative lesson plans that make learning the core curriculum fun for students! Interactions are always respectful and the teacher seeks ways to ensure successful learning for all students, making adjustments as needed to instructional plans and responding to student’s interests and needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education or Students with Disabilities.
- New York State Teaching Certification for Students with Disabilities.
- Valid New York State driver's license.
- One year of cumulative experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
