Shop Associate in Randolph, NY

Responsibilities:
• Support production by working saws and punch presses to create the needed components for the fabrication teams.
• Assists other operators during bottlenecks

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be proficient with a tape measure and protractor.
• Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
• Must be comfortable working with power, pneumatic and manual tools.
• Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment such as face masks, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment but not necessary (added this as it’s so challenging these days)
• Demonstrated mechanical ability (at least 1+ years) but not necessary
• Experience in manual work requiring strength, precision and eye-hand coordination.

Benefits:
• Hourly rate: $16-16.50 depending on qualifications, Overtime at time and a half.

Hours:
• 6AM-3:30PM (1 hour of overtime per day).
• Willing and able to work any overtime as needed during the busy season
