Sales Clerks in Lancaster, NY

Salary Range: $15-$18/hr.

Sales Clerks (Must be at least 15 years of age):
• Greeting customers and determining their needs and wants
• Recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
• Answer customer’s queries and concerns, providing excellent customer service
• Manage and maintain inventory, restocking items as necessary
• Conduct price and total bills, accept payments, and make change for customers
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans
• Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
• Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays
• Handle product exchanges and returns
