To work closely with the Center Service Director in developing, coordinating and implementing programs, activities, events and social initiatives, educational projects and youth mentoring programs for both the Center Services Senior program and the Sport. P.L.US youth sports program.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Developing and coordinating senior and youth sports programs, events, activities, leagues, field trips, banquets and award ceremonies
implement and supervise events as they occur
To transport senior and youth participating in scheduled Center Services events
Create senior and youth recruitment process
Create partnerships with other senior and youth programs throughout the community
Develop strategic sponsorship relationships to attract funding to the programs
Capture the necessary data for reporting purposes
The occupant of this position will work full time, work in the hourly range of 35 to 40 hours per week and must be available to work in the mornings, some evenings and weekends.
Experience in caring for seniors and organizing youth sport activities, coordinating programs, supervising activities, experience driving others and caring for vehicle. Must have a valid NYS Drivers License.
Associates Degree, minimum of three years of experience of supervising senior and youth sport activities and experience in computer software operation (Microsoft apps, outlook etc…)
