Payroll Specialist in Williamsville, new york

Salary Range: $50-$60,000 annually

Seneca Holdings is seeking a Payroll Specialist in WIlliamsville, NY. $50,000-$60,000 annually

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review timesheets for accuracy and following up as needed with internal teams and leaders
- Process biweekly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems
- Works closely with other payroll team members

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll processing
- Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws
- Multistate payroll experience
- ERP system experience
- Must be able to work with confidential material/information
- Must be analytical and have above average organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to prioritize and work independently or as a team member as needed
- Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong customer service abilities

Desired Skills:
-ADP WFN experience
- MS SharePoint experience
- Multistate payroll experience
- Experience posting Labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus)
- Government contracting environment experience a plus
- Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
- Able to work independently
