Optometric Technician

We are looking for an energetic and friendly Optometric Technician that is cross trained in answering the phones and scheduling appointments.
Take medical history, check visual acuity, perform measurements of the visual system prior to the patient seeing the doctor

Able to look up medical insurance eligibility.
Contributes to team effort by helping with tasks such as scanning, shredding, calling in prescriptions, keeping the office tidy, and filling out prior authorizations.

Skills/Qualifications: Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills, Supply Management, Social Media Skills, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Skills.

Must be available: Monday 10-5, Tues 9-5, Wed 10-7, Thursday 10-5, Friday 9-3 (NO WEEKENDS!)

Pay range: $17-20
