Job Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapist plans and administers treatment programs for students who are recommended for such treatment by the Committee on Special Education and in accordance with a physician’s referral. The Occupational Therapist works under the direct supervision of the Supervisor for Special Education Programs.

Required NYS Qualifications:
NYS License in Occupational Therapy

Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and well versed in all areas of occupational therapy with familiarity in working with a variety of school aged students with special needs.
Must be able to develop and implement occupational therapy sessions, maintain documentation, progress notes, IEP paperwork and evaluations.
