SOB is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Media Sales Account Manager who is outstanding with people. The chosen candidate will meet and convert prospects into clients and help them create successful advertising campaigns leveraging Step Out Buffalo’s many channels. Those representing Step Out Buffalo need to love Buffalo & WNY, be a Step Out enthusiast, find excitement in helping local businesses and be motivated for personal growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and advertising and find the creative process of building campaigns enjoyable and fulfilling.

We currently have a strong incentive program in place to reward successful reps, including uncapped commissioned earning potential along with base salary, paid time off, and health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

2+ year(s) of sales experience that includes client management and retention experience.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to identify areas of weakness or potential problems and quickly implement problem-solving strategies to rectify the situation.
Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings.
Must be highly detailed and pay special attention to delivering error-free work.
Positive attitude.
Self-motivated and directed.
Ability to drive and meet with local clients occasionally.
Ability and interest in learning and understanding modern digital marketing methods.
The desire to work with, consult and help local businesses succeed.

Generate a list of prospective clients and reach out to them as sales opportunities.
Meet with prospective clients and convert them into enthusiastic Step Out Buffalo customers.
Management and scheduling of digital advertising campaign
Meet assigned monthly sales goals and quotas.
Retain current book of clients, meeting their needs and keeping them informed and satisfied.
Use templates and sales materials to communicate regularly with clients.
Research and share new and innovative ideas.
Constructively communicate and work well with other members of the team.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ year(s) of sales experience
Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
Experience working in or in-depth knowledge of marketing, digital media, and/or advertising a plus

Total Compensation Range: $50,000 – $100,000
Total Compensation Range includes base salary + commission + bonuses + benefits. Commission is uncapped. Compensation is based on several non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and location.
