Mechanic in Niagara Falls, NY

Salary Range: $28.00-$36.00/hr.

Mark Cerrone, Inc. (a civil/heavy highway construction company) is recruiting for a Mechanic to provide maintenance support for our fleet of heavy and light duty trucks and heavy construction equipment.

Mechanic - Grade 2
Responsible for the troubleshooting and periodic maintenance of heavy duty construction equipment, trucks, light trucks and various mechanical attachments but not limited to:
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul various types of diesel engines and equipment. Hydraulic and electrical system knowledge a must. Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps and compressors. May perform road service calls. 5+ years of experience and your own tool set required. Must have or be able to get a NYS Motor Vehicle Inspectors Group 2 certification. NYS CDL Class B preferred.

Hourly Pay Range $28.00-$36.00

Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to and above 30 plus pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe work boots, and hardhats.
