Manual Lathe Machinist in West Seneca, NY

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical background and a passion for producing high-quality work. As a machinist, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our workshop.

Duties / Responsibilities
• Capable of performing all mechanical measurements
• Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances
• Capable of reading mechanical drawings and specifications to applicable standards
• Knowledge of mechanical instruments, calibration techniques and requirements
• Operating principles and the use of the following equipment
• Milling Machine
• Manual Lathe Machine (Set-up and Operation)
• Usage of overhead cranes and material handling equipment
• Welding principles and application. Basic manual ARC welding
• Usage of Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Air Tools

Qualifications /Requirements
• Experience: Two years’ experience in a related industry
