We are seeking a new addition to our team at Saint-Gobain Boron Nitride at our site in Amherst, NY! The Maintenance Technician supports plant and business objectives of the 24/7 manufacturing facility through the maintenance function by maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting equipment. This is a general maintenance position, and the individual is responsible for a variety of equipment and repairs, which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a similar type of industry/process is preferred - chemical, powder processing, etc. Electrical experience, welding skills, and knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley hardware and software, instrumentation, and other electronics) preferred. Previous forklift and aerial lift experience preferred. Associates degree in a technical discipline preferred.
