Machinist/Toolmaker in Lackawanna, NY

Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00/hour.

The ideal candidate will possess high mechanical aptitude and passion for producing high quality work. Accuracy is crucial. You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks and could develop well-rounded skills. CNC and manual machining, assembly, tooling – just a few ways we have fun!

• Strong math skills for measuring, calculating (coordinate geometry)
• Read, interpret technical drawings
• Close attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments, ensure products meet specifications
• Efficient set-up, operation, maintenance techniques
• Manual machining experience preferred
• CNC Programming skills preferred
• Work independently and with a team
• Good attitude, communication skills essential
• Ability to cross train throughout shop
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
Required:
• At least 2 years’ experience in related industry and desire to learn
• HS Diploma or GED minimum, additional relevant technical school, training, work experience preferred
