Finance Grants Manager in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $23 to $27 per hour with occasional overtime hours

We are seeking an experienced full-time Finance Grants Manager to assist with duties relating to the Organization’s financial functions and grant funding. This position has a flexible work schedule and reports to the CEO. Pay is $23 to $27 per hour with occasional overtime hours.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assists with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports in accordance with individual club-funding sources.
• Processes requisition and other business forms, checking and account balances.
• Assists with Grant Department on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
• Manages account records, issues invoices, and handles payments.
• Collaborates with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
• Analyzes financial data and assists TSC with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
• Updates financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.
• Reviews existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Aids with payroll processing.
• Keeps records and documents financial processes in accordance with state, federal, and local agency policy.
• Navigates Organization's braided grant funds to maximize returns.

Qualification/Requirements:
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or in a related field
• At least two (2) years' experience working as a Finance Associate
• Proficient in integrated financial management software, such as QuickBooks
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
