Field Service Technician in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $21-$35/hr

Field Service Technician – Industrial Machinery Mechanics

WENDT CORPORATION is a world leading manufacturer of shredding and separation recycling solutions and is seeking a candidate with the proper skills and attitude to join our team.

$21-$35 per hour plus an annual bonus, excellent benefits package including 100% fully covered health insurance option, 401(k) with up to 5% company match, first shift, cell phone and laptop, $1000 tool allowance, $200 safety boot allowance, uniform and dry cleaning provided.

This candidate will be involved in field work at a variety of customers located across North America (50% travel-per diems and all work travel expenses paid), commissioning, supervising installation, and repairing equipment. When not traveling they will perform equipment assembly and other shop work as needed. They will provide customer support to perform troubleshooting and training.

This candidate must have:
• Strong concern for safety
• An advanced mechanical aptitude, preferably with heavy machine building experience
• 3 years experience in heavy machine building/assembly
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Basic rigging experience
• Ability to leave the country
• A valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A desire to learn
