Executive Director in Kenmore, NY

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

The Kenmore Municipal Housing Authority (KMHA) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Executive Director to be responsible for the management of 200 Public Housing elderly units.

The successful candidate shall have at least 3 year’s experience in supervision and housing (HUD) background. The Director has full responsibility for all aspects of the Authority's operations, including but not limited to, property management, personnel, financial budgeting and accounting, procurement requirements, resident activities/meetings and thorough knowledge of HUD's web portals. Supervision is exercised over a staff of 5 employees. Accordingly, applicants must possess management and supervisory experience as well as strong interpersonal communication skills.

The candidate meets with and reports directly to a 7-member Board of Commissioners in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures. The position is exempt from Civil Service but qualifies to participate in the NYS Employer Retirement System. Salary is in the range of $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience/qualifications and is accompanied by an excellent health & retirement benefit package.
