CDL B license who will also be playing a role as warehouse associate when traveling is not scheduled.

Ideal candidate must have DOT Physical Certificate, valid passport, Enhanced License.

Position Objective: The Driver/Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehousing duties including receiving, distributing, and delivering products to stores within the region.

Position Responsibilities:
• Prepare items for delivery
• Load and unload stock items
• Operate a forklift to move and arrange stock in warehouse
• Receive, unload, check and shelve incoming items according to established procedures
• Mark stock items and attach necessary paperwork as required
• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing merchandise to sales associates for processing
• Maintain stock inventory
• Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Operate motor vehicles such as trucks, vans, and forklifts
• Operate a wide variety of machinery and equipment including hand trucks, carts, trailers, and pallet jacks
• Assist in counting physical inventory for distribution to stores
• Read work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Open bales, crates, and other containers
• Prepare parcels for mailing
• Performs other duties as required

Essential Requirements:
• Regular and reliable attendance; flexibility and ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictates
• Ability to speak comprehensively and hear effectively with customers, vendors and/or associates of the organization
• Ability to read efficiently, perform basic mathematical functions (count, add, subtract, divide & multiply) and write to accurately complete work-related documentation
• Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Physical demands include frequently standing for long periods of time; walking; ability to reach above or below shoulders, twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, climb and balance
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds
• Ability to operate and use equipment (manual) such as ladder, step stool, objects with wheels, spray bottles and other cleaning equipment necessary to perform job function
• Ability to operate mechanical/electrical equipment used to perform the job functions

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• No experience necessary, preferable experience in a retail customer service environment
• A valid non-restricted motor vehicle operator license
• High school graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience of one year
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication ability

Pay Rate: $25.00 Job Type: Full-time
Payment Frequency: Paid biweekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
