Performs community organization and outreach work and assists in providing services to customers and family members, under the supervision of the Assistant Emergency Services Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Gathers and compiles intake information required by various funding sources for delivery of services
Informs area residents of availability and types of services;
Circulates written information pertinent to community needs and issues
Provides outreach and follow-up services to individuals and groups within targeted areas
Enters high volume of intake information into NHS database, using form #100
Assists in shelving and set-up of food from Food Bank
Sets-up and enrolls clients in nutrition related seminars and workshops as needed
Performs other tasks as assigned by manager
