Collision Technician in Lockport, NY

Salary Range: Starting pay $22/hr

built a strong reputation in the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Collision Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of excellence. As a Collision Technician at Image Collision, you will play a critical role in the repair and restoration of damaged vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and Restoration: Perform expert-level collision repair and restoration work on a variety of vehicles, including structural, body, and paint repairs
• Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify and assess damage, including frame and structural issues
• Panel Replacement: Replace damaged body panels, components, and parts with precision and attention to detail
• Paint and Refi nishing: Skillfully prepare surfaces and apply paint to match original factory finishes
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including estimators and detailers, to ensure seamless repair processes

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Collision Technician in an automotive repair facility
• Proficiency in structural repair, frame straightening, welding, and bodywork
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques, materials, and tools
• Expertise in paint mixing, matching, and refinishing
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• I-CAR certification or other relevant certifi cations are a plus
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
