Welding Instructor in Medina, NY

Anticipated initial assignment is to be at Orleans Career & Technical Education Center, Medina, NY.
The individual will provide instruction to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in BOCES programs in the welding field.
The individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating all instructional requirements in the areas of welding.
Practical experience in the welding industry is required.
A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and/or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) is preferred.
Experience with real life welding applications and experience working with high school age students are desired.
The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire.
It is anticipated that an individual with industry experience would qualify for certification with successful completion of three workshops and an examination (if applicable).
Regular attendance and dependability are required.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
