Salary Range: $28.47 - $42.71 per hour
This position is responsible for performing complex service and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors, trailers, chassis, containers and power equipment on-site at customer sites or rail yard using a mobile service truck.The hourly pay range for this role is between $28.47 and $42.71. We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for a limited time!

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks including, tire replacements/flat repairs, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics and basic structural repairs on tractor and trailer equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ABS system and specialized equipment including refrigerated units, lift gates and frame alignment
• Professionally operate assigned service truck and according to company requirements; properly attend to service truck parts inventory
• Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures
• Properly document damage to company equipment to estimate the cost of repairs
• Demonstrate proficient use of a cutting torch and welding equipment to perform mid-level repairs
• Perform annual AA Trailer and FHWA Brake Inspections sign-off
This is not a roadside assistance position.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 18 years of age for equipment up to 10,000 lbs. or 21 years of age for equipment over 10,000 lbs. with 2+ years experience in semi-tractor or semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Possess a clean motor vehicle record per J.B. Hunt guidelines
• Able to supply your own basic tools or purchase through our purchase program
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements and across multiple shifts if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• DOT certified in FHWA Inspections and Air Brakes
• Welding certification, forklift certification and experience
• EPA section 608 certification and refrigeration license
