Technician 3rd Shift – Transonic Wind Tunnel in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $20.00 - $33.00. based on experience

Responsibilities
-Support testing by efficiently operating equipment and ensuring accurate results and records. Provide support in the resolution of electrical or technical problems.
-Perform set-up and installation of equipment, instrumentation, cable routing, soldering and checkout before, during and after the test.
-Support the maintenance, installation and repair of test equipment to maximize operational availability.
-Document test procedures and installations. Provide guidance with data calculation.

Qualifications
Preferred Education / Experience for Technician:
-AAS in related discipline
-3+ years in related discipline or
-A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability for Technician:
-Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems
-Electrical and electronic principles
-Perform operations and execute test procedures for engineering, scientific, or real-time data acquisition
-Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
-Testing and inspection principles and procedures
-Microsoft Office

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a US government security clearance.
