These children are supported through Aspire of WNY for developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Summer Program Teacher

This position provides educational services to students with multiple disabilities in an inclusive setting. Responsibilities include developing Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s), coordinating services to students, teaching students to ensure successful progress towards students’ goals and collaborates with staff, parents and other service providers.

Requirements:
Valid New York State Teaching Certification in

Rate of Pay:
$26.21 per hour with certification in Students with Disabilities Birth – Grade 2 or Students with Disabilities Grades 1- 6 during orientation and hours worked outside of the 6 week program
$23.12 per hour with other teaching certification during orientation and hours worked outside of the 6 week program
$29.75 per hour during the 6 week summer program
