RN Nurse Manager in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000/year

UBMD Neurology is one of 16 medical practices in UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York and part of the Department of Neurology at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at UB. The Nurse Manager (NM) coordinates and manages overall clinical operations and supervisory responsibilities of the nursing department in a specific outpatient clinic.

Location: Downtown Buffalo (Conventus Medical Office Building) - Paid Parking!
Salary: $75,000-$80,000/year
Schedule: Monday through Friday day shift, no holidays, no weekends.

Duties:
-Participates in and supports patient care with emphasis on patient response including triaging and timely follow up on medical concerns, referrals and diagnostic testing.
-Plans, modifies care and implements interventions as needed and communicates appropriately with patient.
-Accurately and efficiently updates patient medical record on a regular basis.
-Responsible for supervision of all non-provider clinical staff to include appropriate scheduling, identifying training needs, recruitment/interviewing, addressing disciplinary issues and providing overall guidance and mentorship

Requirements:
-Valid NYS nursing license
-Three (3) years of experience as an RN plus a minimum of one (1) year experience as a supervisor, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.
-Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
