Production Supervisor in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $87,000-$115,000

Shift Options:
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly production employees to safely achieve daily manufacturing goals. This role oversees technical and manufacturing processes within the assigned functional area while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate hourly production employees during assigned shifts
- Promote and enforce workplace safety across all operations
- Optimize labor utilization and address operational inefficiencies
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime
- Support positive employee relations while adhering to company policies and CBA guidelines
- Ensure employees are properly trained and qualified to operate equipment
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Coordinate with scheduling and planning to maintain efficient workflow and meet customer demands
- Monitor production processes, testing, and materials to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the work area
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ISO program compliance
- Manage proper containerizing and labeling of universal waste

Minimum Requirements:
- BS degree in business or related technical field or AAS degree with 5+ years of experience
- 5 years manufacturing supervisory experience
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- Union setting experience preferred
