Optometric Technician - PT in Williamsville, NY

Salary Range: $17-21./hour

We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Part-Time Optometric Technician to support both clinical care and front-desk operations, including patient intake, phone coverage, and appointment scheduling.
• Take patient medical histories, check visual acuity, and perform preliminary visual system measurements before the doctor examination.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and verify medical insurance eligibility.
• Assist with administrative and office support tasks, including scanning, shredding, calling in prescriptions, maintaining an organized office, and completing prior authorizations.

Qualifications
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, organization, and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records (EMR), phone systems, and general office support tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule: Must be available Wednesday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Compensation: $17–$21 per hour, based on experience.
