Salary Range: $20 - $23 per hour (based on experience)

Centivo is seeking Member Care Specialists to join our dynamic team. This is an in-person, on-site role based in our downtown Buffalo, NY office. In this role, you will play an important part in our mission by serving as a trusted resource and problem-solver for both members and provider partners. Prior customer service experience in health insurance is a plus, but not required as we provide a paid training program scheduled to start Monday, June 1, 2026, Monday to Friday in the Buffalo office.

What you’ll do:
- Accept inbound calls from members and providers on inquiries pertaining to benefits, eligibility, and claims
- Research complex inquiries by use of tools, documentation, and outbound calls
- Educate members and providers on the benefits and navigation of Centivo site, tools, and applications
- Document all interactions and ensure proper processes/procedures are followed and follow-up action is taken
- De-escalate calls when necessary
- Address first-level complaints and provide assistance on appeals as needed;

You should have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Some computer skills
- Familiarity with the Microsoft operating system and their suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- And can quickly learn other proprietary computer systems
- Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- These are not required, but would be nice to have:
- Fast-paced call center experience
- Previous claims experience and/or medical billing experience
