Maintenance Mechanic in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $27.25-$36.75 based on experience

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.
This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, machining, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance (filters, inspections, oil)
• Operate and set up machine shop equipment (CNC, mills, lathes, grinders)
• Complete precision machining and fabrication (welding, aluminum, stainless steel)
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Train and support junior mechanics
• Operate fork trucks and man-lifts
• Read manuals, prints, and work orders
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance
Requirements & Skills:
• High school diploma or GED
• 5–7 years manufacturing maintenance experience
• Technical training or certifications
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• CMMS/PM experience preferred

The pay range is $27.25-$36.75 based on experience
