SUMMARY
Fits and assembles machine components, according to assembly blueprints, using hand and power tools. When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments. Must be able to work overtime.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Vocational training, two to three years of actual experience, blue print reading, shop mathematics, machine construction and design, and the use of shop measuring instruments. The ability to weld is a plus. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

STARTING SALARY
$24-$30 hour depending on experience. Performance evaluations are completed every 90 days and eligible for a pay increase based on performance at 90, 180, 270. The current maximum is $31.50/hour.
