About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing construction and property development team.
This hands-on role will support the electrical installation and maintenance needs of both our new developments and existing properties.
The ideal candidate is licensed, dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities
-Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial buildings
-Interpret and follow electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams
-Ensure all installations are completed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes
-Coordinate with project managers and construction crews on project timelines and job requirements
-Troubleshoot issues and perform diagnostics using appropriate tools and technique
-Ensure job site safety and cleanliness, adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies
-Mentor apprentices and support training of junior team members
-Accurately complete work logs, inspection reports, and job site documentation
What We're Looking For
-Valid City of Buffalo Journeyman Electrician license
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential or light commercial electrical work
-Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
-Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
-Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew
-Comfortable working outdoors and in various field conditions
-Strong problem-solving and communication skills
-A passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and quality
Bonus if you have:
-Experience with energy-efficient systems, solar integration, or smart home technologies
-OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
-Familiarity with multifamily housing projects
