Salary from $20 to $22 WEEK (USD)

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Intake Coordinator should be highly organized, detail-oriented, empathetic, calm under pressure, and must have a sense of humor. Education requirements: high school diploma required with additional education helpful. Spanish speaking a plus.
Our unique center provides a full spectrum of reproductive services including abortion, birth control, gynecological services, transgender health services, breastfeeding support, and birthing center options. Candidates must be deeply committed to Reproductive Justice!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Besides specific responsibilities assigned, the Intake Coordinator will carry out the following duties:
- Answer telephones
- Utilize Azalea to enter patient demographics and medical history; and to schedule appointments accordingly
- Call insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits
- Utilize ePaces & HealthEnet to verify insurance is active
- Greet and check in patients
- Ensure waiting room is clean and comfortable
- Maintain daily patient sheets and prepare deposits
- Make patient charts, check patient charts for accuracy and completion
- Operate fax, postage, copy, and credit card machines
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- File completed charts and billing sheets
- Send/Request patient records as needed
- Provide referrals for patients
- Maintain security of facility
- Enter and check daily sheets
- Perform UPTs for walk-in patients
- Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management
