FACT Housing Specialist in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $19.36 - $21.78/ hour

Join our dedicated team at Endeavor Health Services as a FACT (Forensic Assertive Community Treatment) Housing Specialist, where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to secure stable housing and achieve their personal recovery goals. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a supportive community, enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, and promoting successful reintegration into society.

The Housing Specialist will need to visit various housing properties, and partner agencies. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel independently are essential.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, psychology or a related field is preferred.
- Alternatively, significant relevant experience and knowledge of housing programs, social services, or behavioral health may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Personal or lived experience with navigating the housing system is highly valued. This experience can provide invaluable insight and empathy when working with individuals in similar circumstances.
- A valid New York State Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle is required to make community/employment site/home visits.
