Event Sales Manager in West Seneca, NY

Salary Range: $18-$22 per hour plus bonus pay

Kloc’s Grove seeks a sales manager to generate new business and deliver outstanding services and planning support to event clients. The role coordinates client needs with our team’s quality offerings.

Key Job Responsibilities:
* Sales Generation: Actively prospect, sell, and market Kloc’s Grove space to potential clients to maximize revenue.
* Handle inquiries, conduct venue tours, and act as the main liaison, ensuring client needs are met from booking to post-event follow-up.
* Relationship Management: Cultivate ongoing relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners.
* Proactively pursues size-appropriate business within the designated markets that align with the building and destination.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of the time-sensitive nature of returning calls, preparing proposals, and providing prospective clients with accurate, relevant information.
* Prepares sales activity reports for the General Manager and attends weekly meetings to update on outstanding groups and plan space usage and revenue.
* Follows up on all completed business to identify rebooking opportunities and documents successes and opportunities for improvement.
* Maintains a well-informed and working knowledge of available tourism products in the WNY area.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or at least three years of sales experience (ideally within tourism or hospitality).
* Excellent written and oral communication and organization skills
* Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work independently.
* Positive, diplomatic, professional attitude.
* Demonstrated expertise in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Caterease, or Triple Seat; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and experience utilizing booking software.
* Booking, scheduling and logistics oversight to create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
* Logistics & Coordination: Work with catering, service, and vendors to deliver smooth events.

Salary and Benefits:
* The hourly wage ranges from $18 to $22, depending on experience. Bonus pay is tied to sales performance and could potentially increase annual earnings by $11,000 to $20,000.
