Entry Level Mechanic/ Shop Labor in Lancaster, NY

Salary Range: $27-$30 per hour depending on experience.

Swan Trucking West is looking for a motivated entry-level mechanic to join our team.
We operate with a fleet of 25+ tri axle dump trucks and dump trailers and are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in heavy truck repair.

Work alongside lead technician performing preventative maintenance, repairs and general shop duties
• Assist with brake jobs, suspension repairs and minor engine work
• Parts pick up & inventory
• Maintain / organize shop area
• Perform routine maintenance PM service, oil changes, grease, filters
• Learn diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting
Dependable, mechanically inclined and looking for a chance to increase your heavy truck knowledge with us.
• CDL a plus but not required
• Able to lift 50lbs or more and work in a shop environment
• Basic hand tools required
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow direction
• Mechanical aptitude (diesel, automotive, farm or heavy equipment preferred)

Full Time, all benefits (health, dental, 401k, paid vacation) $27-$30 per hour
