We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our Production Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic and mechanical devices to meet stringent performance standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in soldering, circuit analysis, and assembly, as well as manual dexterity to work with intricate components.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble, test, and repair electrical and mechanical components for FDR/CVR data downloading tools and related products.
• Perform soldering and circuit analysis to ensure all devices meet quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical and mechanical systems and components.
• Follow technical schematics, work instructions, and documentation to assemble and configure devices accurately.
• Conduct rigorous testing to verify product functionality and compliance before release.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet assembly timelines and product specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in process improvements, working with team members to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Follow standardized production procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
• Soldering & Circuit Analysis: Proficient in soldering techniques and analyzing electrical circuits for functionality and integrity.
• Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and precision in assembling complex devices.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience: Prior experience in an electrical or mechanical technician role, preferably in a production or assembly environment (preferred but not required).
• Education: Associate degree (required), or Bachelor’s degree (a plus) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly and testing.
