Director of Operational Excellence in Lancaster, NY

Salary Range: $135,000-$165,000 year

A manufacturing company is looking to hire a Director of Operational Excellence on a full-time basis. In this role, you are responsible for setting up conditions for a sustainable continuous performance improvement and spearheading the implementation of best standards.

Duties include:
Managing the HK/MP process and collaborating with senior leadership to build the Business Unit Master Plan
Piloting Lean Sigma deployment program including White Belt training, coaching Green Belts, and sponsoring key improvement projects for the Business Unit
Organizing and facilitating on-site workshops from the master plan, and supporting the pilots in execution
Supporting QRQC deployment and increasing maturity
Establishing cost reduction goals/action plans
Deploying process targets at the Business Unit level and improving the master plan process

Job Requirements
Bachelor`s degree in management or related technical field
8-10 years of manufacturing experience
5 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
Black Belt certification or in the process of being certified
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
Results-driven and customer-oriented mindset
