LS,S LLC is a national catalog company selling products for the visually impaired and hard of hearing.
The company sells to state agencies, the federal government, not-for-profits, schools, and directly to individuals, most of whom are seniors.
We are a smaller sized company with a supportive working environment and a strong emphasis on customer service.

Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling customer interactions and for daily order processing.
This is an in person, front-line position, requiring a blend of customer-focus, product knowledge, systems proficiency, patience, order entry skills, problem solving abilities, and time management.

Major Responsibilities:
• Answer all inbound calls coming in through the ACD
• Assist in processing all faxed, mailed, and internet orders
• Respond to email inquiries
• Work closely with sales people for order and account support
• Process catalog requests
• Manage all supporting paperwork

Key Skills Required:

a) Customer Contact:
CSR’s must have the capability to explain and specify products, resolve issues, and respond to customer inquiries, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills. Due to a high level of interaction with seniors, a modest degree of patience and empathy is required.

b) Order Entry and Returns Processing:
CSR’s are responsible for entering all orders that come in via fax, email, or internet. A high level of thoroughness is expected to ensure that the orders are processed according to customer-specific requirements.

c) Product Knowledge:
CSR’s are expected to learn about LS,S’s entire product line and be able to offer customers detailed product guidance.
Product learning is all internal and is supported by extensive company-internal notes, on-going product training, and support from other CSR’s.

d) Systems Proficiency:
The Customer Support Representative must be proficient with personal computers, with strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications. CSR’s must be able to learn new applications and software systems, as introduced.

Hours: 8:30 – 5:00, Monday – Friday, with some overtime requirements.
Location: City of Buffalo.

• High School Degree or GED
• 2+ years of call center customer service experience
• Work with seniors is a plus
