Controller in Lancaster, NY

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000

Controller for a privately held Manufacturing company.

Job Summary:
• Works directly with the President and management team providing financial input on company issues.
• Responsible for managing accounting records for four affiliated companies.
• Handle Month and Year End closings with Financial Statement reporting.
• Manage accounting department including AP, AR, Order Processing and payroll functions.
• State and Federal Government compliance reporting.
• Liaison with outside firms: Legal, Accounting, Insurance and Banking
• Developing and maintaining Budgets and Forecasts
• Other responsibilities include: Product Pricing, managing Monthly Cash flow, Hiring and training accounting staff.

Qualifications:
• 7+ years’ experience in the accounting field with most recent role in management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and business accounting processes.
