Multiple Positions Available | University at Buffalo

What You'll Do
• Operate garbage packers, backhoes, dump trucks, loaders, tractors, snow and ice removal equipment, and other grounds equipment.
• Drive large vehicles, load and unload materials, and transport freight and equipment.
• Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, including mowing, turf repair, fertilizing, pruning, planting, and other projects.
• Remove snow and ice from campus roads and paved surfaces.
• Perform manual labor associated with maintaining campus grounds.

What You Need
• Valid NYS CDL Class B with tanker and air brake endorsements.
• Ability to safely operate large vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, front loaders, dump trucks, tractors, and riding mowers.
• Ability to perform pre-operation safety inspections and safely move loads and equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime for snow removal and other seasonal needs.
• Availability for shift changes, including potential second- and third-shift assignments based on seniority and operational needs.
