We are hiring a full-time Community Nutrition Program Manager.

Position Summary:
The Community Nutrition Program Manager is responsible for executing the operational strategies necessary to achieve the mission-focused goals and objectives developed by the Executive Director and Board.

Responsibilities Include:
• Oversight of Nutrition, Diabetes, and Food Programs
• Includes: providing trainings, chart reviews, program coordination, reporting, quality assurance, credentialing, marketing, and promotion
• May Include: On-site field visits, menu development or analysis
• Provide Individual and Group Nutrition Services, including counseling, development of education materials, group education presentations
• Developing new programs and processes with Executive Director and Management Team

This position will include both field-based and office-based responsibilities.
Work From Home / Remote office is an option for office-based responsibilities, although in-person team meetings may be required.
Travel may include local, regional, and state-wide for in-person responsibilities and out-of-state for conferences.

Qualifications:
• Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics (master’s preferred)
• Requires New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) certification and must be a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (or eligible to apply)
• Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy is a plus.
• Strong computer/technology skills including: electronic health record, Microsoft Office-Suite, Outlook, and more.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community with a track record of building authentic, constructive relationships with others.
• Team player who enjoys working both collaboratively and independently.
• Provides support for assigned Committees of the Board of Directors and the Network.
• Represents WNYICC on network-wide initiatives.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation, as a significant portion of the programs will be conducted in the field throughout the Western and Central New York regions.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service on phone, in-person, via email and in all aspects of employment at WNYICC.
• Communicates in a positive manner both internally and externally to partners.
• Assists Team in a wide array of responsibilities from event planning to reports.
