Qualified Collision Estimator NYS Licensed Appraisal Adjuster Must Be Certified

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Appraisal Adjuster to join our dynamic team immediately. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing collision damages, providing detailed estimates, and appraising vehicle values in compliance with New York State licensing requirements. This is a unique business opportunity to be a part of a well respected shop of over 50 years.

Qualifications
• Valid New York State (NYS) license as a Collision Estimator or Appraisal Adjuster is required and must be current.
• Proven experience in auto estimating, auto body repair, or automotive service management preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with analysis skills to evaluate complex vehicle damages accurately.
• Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate fair resolutions between customers and insurance providers.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software, auto restoration processes, and underwriting principles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of auto service writing, auto estimating techniques, and automotive repair standards essential for success in this role.
