Salary Range: $24.00 to $30.00

CNC Machinist – 65-Year Established Company
Location: E & R Machine, 211 Grand Street, Lockport, NY 14094
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift NO WEEKENDS

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes in a steady, quality-focused production environment.

What You’ll Do
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read blueprints and job travelers; interpret requirements
• Perform setups including tooling, fixtures, and offsets
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues as needed
• Keep work area organized and follow safety standards
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Dependable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality
• Programming experience a plus, but not required.
