Certified Medical Assistant in Williamsville, NY

Salary Range: $19-21. / hour

Busy private family practice in Williamsville looking for a reliable and hard working, full-time Certified Medical Assitant.
Pay $19-21/hour. Full Time 40 hours (4 days, 1 evening/week until 8PM, set schedule with options for flexibility)
Rotating Saturday morning (8AM-12PM) from September-May. Approximately one saturday/month.
Benefits: PTO, 401K & Health Insurance. No Major Holidays

Tasks:
• Rooming patients efficiently for the physicians.
• Obtaining necessary measurements, vitals, peak flows, pulse oximetry.
• Performing EKGs, PFT's, aerosol treatments, and ear washes.
• Patient teaching as relevant to training and background.
• Assisting physician with patient treatments needed, i.e.: sutures.
• Performing laboratory procedures as listed in procedure manual.
• Stocking and maintaining exam rooms and lab area.
• Cleaning of instruments used daily.
• May be required to perform other related duties.

Requirements:
• Motivated and self-reliant.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Good knowledge of office operations.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good organizational skills.
• Training in CLIA and OSHA requirements helpful.
