Business Development Representative in Hamburg, NY

Salary Range: $45,000-55,000+ first year

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to identify and contact prospective employers who may benefit from advertising their job openings on our job board. This role focuses on outreach, relationship-building, and helping companies understand how our platform can support their hiring needs. You will also be responsible for assisting established customers with their weekly advertising needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and research prospective employers within our regional market.
• Conduct outreach via phone & email to introduce our advertising services.
• Build relationships with HR managers, recruiters, and business owners.
• Assist new & established customers with ad ideas and placement.
• Educate potential customers on job posting packages, pricing, and value.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and customer interactions in CRM or tracking tools.
• Follow up with leads and nurture relationships to convert prospects into customers.

Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, or customer outreach (preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and sending cold emails.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of prospects.
• Strong attention to detail
• Above average communication skills both written and verbal.

Compensation
• Base pay plus commission for new employer accounts or job postings sold.
• $45-55k expected first year with opportunity for even more!
