Salary Range: $54,000-$92,000 commensurate with experience

ItiItinerant teacher to service students throughout Orleans and/or Niagara Counties receiving Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Section 504 Vision teacher services in component school district and BOCES buildings in grades kindergarten through 12.

• The teacher must demonstrate the ability to align lessons to the New York State Standards.
• The teacher must demonstrate the ability to plan and implement engaging learning activities and deliver instruction based upon an individual's needs (aligned to the IEP or Section 504 Plan).
• The teacher must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate and interact with parents, teachers and students.
• Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification is desired.
• The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire.
• Regular attendance and dependability are required.

Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change.

Requirement: Blind and Visually Impaired New York State Certification
