Buffalos Best catering by Kim is seeking to add a additional banquet chef to our award winning culinary team in Orchard Park, NY.

Your role will involve planning and executing menus for banquets, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that the food served at events is of the highest quality.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced chef who is familiar with all types of meal preparations and knowledgeable about food health and safety regulations.

Ultimately, the role of the Banquet Chef is to ensure customer satisfaction through the preparation of high-quality, delicious meals for various events.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with event planners to understand the clients specific food preferences and dietary requirements
• Ordering and managing inventory of food supplies and kitchen equipment
• Overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals are kept to the standards assigned
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas meet health and safety standards
• Supervising and coordinating activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
• Ensuring food quality and taste by sampling and smelling food
• Implementing and maintaining portion control measures to minimize waste
• Coordinating with servers to ensure meals are served in a timely manner

Compensation - $24-30/hr
