Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for New York State Inspection and sale.
Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid replacements to maintain vehicle longevity.
Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety standards.
Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles.

Qualifications
***MUST HAVE NYS INSPECTOR'S LICENSE***
Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes across domestic vehicle types.
Dealership experience is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, Driver Assistance Systems, and automotive electrical systems.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
Hands-on experience with suspension work, tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and powertrain maintenance.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software confidently.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude towards vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
